Your new role
Your role as HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing strategic HR leadership within a busy department, reporting into the HR Manager. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, align HR best practice, actively work on employee relation cases, and actively take part in organisation transformation. Job duties include:
1. You will guide managers throughplex employment legislation, policy frameworks, and procedural adherence.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement – Cultivate a collaborative and forward-thinking work environment, manage union relations and change consultation processes with diplomacy and expertise.
3. Change & Transformation Leadership – Provide structured support during organisational restructuring, ensuring employee wellbeing remains a priority through coaching, mentoring, and tailored interventions.
4. Data-Driven HR Advisory – Utilise HR analytics to inform strategic decision-making, shaping initiatives that enhance workforce resilience, productivity, and engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
5. A proven track record of understanding employment law
6. Experience of union negotiations
7. Evidence of delivering HR transformation strategy
8. A proven track record in HR business partnering, restructuring initiatives, andplex change management programmes.
9. Proficient in HR systems, employment documentation
10. Exceptional interpersonal andmunication skills
