Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day

Secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop curiosity, critical thinking and a strong understanding of the world around them.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver inspiring lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, adapting learning to meet the needs of different students. You will foster a positive classroom culture, encourage scientific thinking and support students in developing both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
* Encourage curiosity, investigation and independent thinking
* Support students in developing practical laboratory skills
* Maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
* Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Secure subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
* Ability to motivate and inspire learners of varying abilities
* Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
