Junior Mechanical Design Engineer | Automotive | Wymondham | Up to £35k
Our client, who is based on the outskirts of Norwich, is an established automotive technology company with a global client base. They are recruiting for a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative R&D team.
You will be responsible for producing mechanical designs for a range of products and applications in 3D and 2D using SolidWorks.
Responsibilities:
* Develop design concepts using 2D drawings, 3D models and prototypes.
* Produce engineering drawings, specifications, BOM structures, part lists and costings.
* Work with purchasing on costings for parts.
Key requirements:
* Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience (via university, college, apprenticeship, or progressive roles in the sector)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
* Genuine interest in the Automotive or Motorsport industries
* Experience using SolidWorks
