Contract Opportunity: Technical Lead – D365 CE (Real-Time Marketing)

We're working with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture and delivery of their Dynamics 365 CE + Customer Insights – Journeys (Real-Time Marketing) platform.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role with end-to-end ownership across solution architecture, integrations, compliance, and omnichannel marketing orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the architecture and solution design for D365 CE integrated with Real-Time Marketing (RTM)
* Design and implement event-driven architecture (real-time events, catalogues, custom ingestion)
* Define strategies for segmentation, audience updates, and profile unification
* Architect multi-branch customer journeys with advanced routing and exit logic
* Oversee custom channels (SMS, WhatsApp, Push) and delivery orchestration
* Lead complex integrations: Azure Functions, REST APIs, Service Bus/Kafka, Azure Communication Services
* Own Dataverse schema, plugin development, reusable components, and DevOps/ALM processes
* Ensure robust GDPR-compliant configurations across consent and brand profiles
What You’ll Need:
* 8–12 years of technical leadership in Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform
* Deep expertise in Dataverse, C#, custom actions, plugins, and Power Automate
* Strong grasp of RTM internals: triggers, segmentation, journey branching
* Extensive integration experience: Azure Functions, APIs, event/queue-based architectures
* Familiarity with first-party data models and identity resolution
* Excellent understanding of GDPR/compliance frameworks
* Proven ability to design and scale real-time omnichannel marketing platforms
