Credit Control Administrator
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £25,720per annum
Key Responsibilities of a Credit Control Administrator:
* Facilitate debt collection and improve the debtor aging profile.
* Review and report aged debt.
* Manage customer accounts and reconcile invoices.
* Liaise with sales managers and depot staff to ensure efficient debt collection.
* Handle unallocated cash amounts and resolve account queries.
* Maintain accurate records of chasing activity and client communications.
* Provide account information to internal departments and assist with reception duties as required.
Key Skills of a Credit Control Administrator:
* Proven experience in credit control with a good understanding of accounting processes.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and clear telephone manner.
* Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
* A proactive, positive attitude with high levels of commitment and flexibility.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
