Driving Strategic AI Transformation Across the Enterprise

Slalom is seeking a visionary Enterprise AI Leader to spearhead large-scale AI transformation initiatives for organizations embarking on digital evolution journeys. As a strategic thought leader and hands-on expert, you will be responsible for shaping multi-year enterprise AI programs, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring that innovative AI solutions deliver measurable business impact. This role calls for advanced expertise in designing, deploying, and scaling AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation within complex enterprise environments. You will collaborate closely with senior executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders to define the roadmap for AI innovation, govern ethical and effective AI adoption, and navigate the challenges of integrating advanced analytics into core business platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in enterprise technology, cloud-based AI solutions, and digital transformation leadership, coupled with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. What You’ll Do

1. Lead solutioning, estimation, and deal closure for sales pursuits involving AI in Salesforce.
2. Drive discovery, planning, and requirements elicitation for complex organizations adopting AI in Salesforce.
3. Facilitate client meetings to define and prioritize value-driven outcomes.
4. Lead cross-functional teams as an AI SME to deliver impactful Salesforce AI solutions.
5. Serve as a functional consultant and business analyst specializing in AI applications within Salesforce.
6. Collaborate with Slalom teams across domains (e.g., AWS, OpenAI, Google) to create proofs of concept (POCs) and points of view (POVs) that expand the use of AI in Salesforce.
7. Provide thought leadership and define best practices for integrating AI within Salesforce ecosystems.
8. Manage seamless handoffs from sales to delivery for Salesforce AI projects.
9. Develop reusable delivery assets and accelerators for internal and client teams.
10. Act as an evangelist for Salesforce AI across Slalom, promoting innovation and adoption.
11. Coach and enable other teams on best practices for leveraging AI in Salesforce.
12. Partner with marketing to create customer stories showcasing Salesforce AI success.
13. Support market-fit analyses, total addressable market (TAM) assessments, and pipeline triage in collaboration with Account and Capability Leads.
14. Serve as a conduit between real-world client needs and innovation initiatives within Slalom’sInnovation Hub.

What You’ll Bring

15. Passion for solving real business challenges through the creative use of AI.
16. Ability to elicit and interpret business requirements — uncovering the “why” behind the “what.”
17. Deep Salesforce configuration expertise across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).
18. Strong understanding of AI capabilities within Salesforce (Einstein, Prompt Builder, Copilot, Data Cloud, etc.) and how to apply them effectively.
19. Awareness of the declarative limits of the platform and the judgment to know when and how to extend with custom code.
20. Proven record of successful Salesforce and AI-enabled project delivery.
21. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
22. Exceptional organizational and facilitation skills to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
23. Confidence and enthusiasm for presenting to groups and influencing through storytelling.
24. Curiosity and a drive to push boundaries, continuously exploring emerging AI capabilities.
25. Suggested Certifications: Salesforce AI Associate, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant.
26. Nice to Have: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
27. Nice to Have: Experience with prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using foundational models.
28. Nice to Have: Familiarity with OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a Senior Principal is $140,000 to $258,000 and for a Director is $161,000 to $308,000 In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
