Resource Management Planner
Join our four strong Nelson Planning team in our exciting new office as an experienced Resource Management Planner. This role provides planning services to various clients, including NZTA, multiple local authorities, iwi and WSP colleagues. Our office has 65 other professionals, who are all active members of the community enjoying everything that the Nelson / Tasman region offers.
Working across a varied portfolio of work, your day-to-day duties may include a variety of planning tasks including preparing resource consent applications, assessing environmental effects, preparation of district plan changes and community engagement.
About you:
* Tertiary qualification in planning/resource management or related field
* Eligibility for NZPI membership
* Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in planning or related discipline
* Preferably experience working for or with district or regional Councils
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent oraland written communication skills
* Current, clean driver’s licence
