Description Social Worker - Ref: SS00425 6X full time posts (37 hours) 1x part time post (30 hours) Grade: G9; Salary Range: £39,513 - £44,711 (Pro Rata to hours worked) Make a Real Difference in Specialist Social Work with Walsall MBC! Walsall MBC is looking for dedicated individuals to join our specialist social work teams supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, and younger adults. Here, you'll have exciting opportunities to develop your skills in strength-based, recovery-focused interventions, including forensic social work and supporting individuals under the Mental Health Act 1983. Learning Disability Team: Become a named worker and build meaningful, long-term relationships with people of all ages who have a learning disability. Younger Adults Team: Be part of shaping a newly formed team dedicated to ensuring positive transitions into adult services for young people, including those with EHCPs in education. Our Vacancies We are currently looking for experienced Social Worker’s to join our teams across Adult Social Care where you will work closely with people, social care and health colleagues, and others to co-produce strengths based care and support plans to support people to live the life they want.
