Description Do you want to help to improve the lives of high-risk victims of domestic abuse? If you do, then you might be well suited to the role of Multi-Agency Assessment Conference (MARAC) Co-Ordinator. A MARAC is a multi-agency meeting which produces safety plans for individuals and their children who have been identified as at high risk of serious harm or homicide from domestic abuse. There are two meetings every week in East Sussex. As a MARAC Co-Ordinator you can make a real difference to a person’s life by accurately recording the information shared at MARAC. You will provide administrative support to the MARAC. It is a challenging role and involves reading, listening, and recording (in written format) information which you might find distressing. You will work with representatives from a range of other agencies and as part of the East Sussex Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence/ Abuse & Violence Against Women and Girls Team. You will receive support from a small and dedicated team and will be offered 6 weekly clinical supervision to support you in this role. We are looking for candidates who: Are proactive. Have high attention to detail to accurately record the information shared at a fast-paced MARAC meeting. Have a commitment to improving the response to victims/ survivors of domestic abuse. The role of MARAC Co-Ordinator offers the ability to put your advanced administration skills to use for the benefit of individuals at high risk or harm or homicide.
