As an Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support for construction projects and day-to-day office operations. You will work 39 to 40 hours per week, earning a competitive salary ranging from £25,396.80 to £32,000 depending on experience. Key Administrator Responsibilities: * Provide administrative support across construction projects and the wider office. * Handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries promptly and professionally. * Prepare purchase orders, assist in processing invoices accurately, and handle materials ordering. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and project teams. * Monitor the department mailbox and maintain electronic filing systems. * Manage all incoming and outgoing post for the department. * Preparation of documentation. * Assist in diary management and arrange meetings. * Assist with supplier payroll preparation. * Input financial data into internal systems efficiently. * Collaborate with all departments to resolve queries. * Support colleagues in other departments when necessary. Requirements for Administrator: * Ideally, a background or experience in the construction or civil engineering sector would be advantageous. NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent is advantageous. * Must have previous experience in an administrative position. * Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional telephone manner. A proactive and positive attitude with strong attention to detail. Required good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and Sage. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and numerate. A valid UK driving licence and own transport are essential.
