Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Levenshulme Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supervising students in the absence of a teacher Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment Delivering pre-prepared work and assisting students with questions Reporting back on student behaviour and progress to teaching staff Following the school's policies and procedures at all times Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people Education: A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively Basic understanding of educational principles Good organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Higher education qualification in a relevant subject Teaching assistant qualification Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies.
