Job Overview
This is a rare opportunity to join the team behind one of the world’s fastest-growing global sports. World Snooker Tour is looking for an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Ticketing Administrator to join our Marketing team, based in Clifton, Bristol.
You’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining our ticketing operations across a busy international events calendar, ensuring that tickets for our tournaments are set up, managed and delivered smoothly using Ticketmaster. From initial event builds to on-sale management, reporting and customer support, your work will directly support fans attending our events worldwide.
We’re a small and versatile team, and we value people who are happy to roll up their sleeves and support across a range of tasks — particularly during live events and peak sales periods. This is also a role where you’ll be supported to grow, gaining exposure to large-scale live events, international audiences and commercial operations within a global sports organisation.
The position may involve occasional travel to UK and international events.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain World Snooker Tour’s ticketing operations using Ticketmaster
• Build and configure events within Ticketmaster, including seating plans, pricing structures, ticket types, and on-sale schedules
• Monitor ticket sales performance and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders
• Manage ticket allocations, holds, releases and complimentary tickets
• Act as a key point of contact for ticketing-related queries from fans, venues, promoters and internal teams
• Support on-sale launches, presales and promotional ticketing campaigns
• Liaise with venues and Ticketmaster account managers to ensure accurate event setup and smooth delivery
• Assist with ticketing operations during live events, including troubleshooting access issues where required
• Ensure ticketing data is accurate and compliant with internal processes
• Support wider commercial and event operations tasks as needed, particularly during major tournaments
What We’re Looking For
We don’t expect every applicant to tick every box — but we are looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable and comfortable working with ticketing systems.
• Experience managing events within Ticketmaster (or a similar ticketing platform)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident working with data, sales reports and spreadsheets
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable dealing with customer queries in a professional and helpful manner
• Proactive, flexible and collaborative — happy to support across a small team
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends during events and on-sale periods
• A genuine interest in live events and sport
• Experience working in sport, live events, entertainment or ticketing environments is a strong advantage
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
• Experience working with multiple venues or international events
• Familiarity with access control systems and on-site ticket scanning
• Experience supporting large-scale on-sales or high-demand events
• Understanding of basic marketing or promotional ticketing strategies
What We Offer
• A full-time role in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment
• A unique chance to work at the heart of a global sporting organisation
• Exposure to major international live sporting events
• Opportunities to develop your skills within ticketing and event operations
• Office base in Clifton, Bristol
• Competitive salary, plus a discretionary annual bonus
