Children’s Social Worker, Fostering Supervision Team, Leicester
Pay rate: £36 to £38 per hour.
Contract role: Fostering Supervision Team.
Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in Leicester.
Responsibilities
* Full-time vacancy for Supervising Social Worker with a caseload of approved Kinship foster carers.
* Working full time Mon–Thurs 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
* The caseload is likely to be a mix of mainstream and kinship foster carers and some of our kinship carers live a distance away from Leicester, so the role will require travel. Maximum caseload is 22, but average is currently 18.
* Hybrid working requires attending some face‑to‑face meetings at Halford House and other City venues – the more mandatory meetings are approx. once a fortnight as a guide. Hybrid working uses an office base in City centre, local venues such as Children's Centres and home‑based working.
