Supply Quality Officer

* Contract : Permanent | Full-time
* Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 15am–4 : 15pm
* Salary : £30,000 – £35,000 DOE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Quality Officer to join an award-winning pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, operating one of the UK’s leading MHRA-approved sterile manufacturing facilities.
The Role
As Supply Quality Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all third-party suppliers meet required cGMP and regulatory standards, supporting batch certification and continuous improvement across the supply base.
Key Responsibilities :
* Reviewing and approving documentation from third‑party suppliers to ensure compliance with cGMP and relevant regulatory standards
* Assessing supplier quality activities, including deviations, change controls and technical documentation
* Approving master documentation to support the QP in batch certification of finished products
* Supporting supplier qualification, performance monitoring and ongoing evaluation, including supplier audits
* Contributing to continuous improvement of the site quality system
* Working cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Quality Control, Engineering, Warehousing and Development laboratories
The successful candidate for the Supply Quality Officer will have :
* Degree‑qualified in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or similar) with strong working knowledge of EU GMP and quality systems
* Excellent communicator with proven experience in investigations, root cause analysis and managing multiple priorities in a regulated environment
* An ideal opportunity for a Senior QC Analyst looking to transition into a broader QA / Supply Quality remit within a global pharmaceutical organisation
