JMK Group is thrilled to be launching two exceptional Marriott properties in Belfast — Aloft and Residence Inn, opening as a dual-site hotel in Q1 2026.
We are now recruiting a dynamic and commercially driven Financial Controller to join us from January. This is a key leadership role, shaping the financial operations of both hotels from pre-opening through to full operation.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a major launch, set up financial systems from day one, and play a central role in the success of two new Marriott-branded hotels.
About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will:
* Lead all pre-opening finance preparation, including systems setup and Marriott onboarding
* Establish all financial controls, reporting structures, and SOPs
* Own the month-end process, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Support the General Manager and JMK Group with financial insights and decision-making
* Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
* Build a strong finance function to support both properties
* Partner with operations leaders to drive profitability and cost efficiency
* Play a strategic role during opening and post-opening stabilisation

Who We’re Looking For
* Experienced Hotel Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
* Strong background in hospitality finance
* Knowledge of Marriott systems is a strong advantage
* Commercial, analytical, and highly organised
* Able to lead through pre-opening complexity
* Passionate about developing processes and high-performing teams
