Working with teams across our four sites, you will play a vital role in delivering a smooth and comprehensive clerking service to our members, including: diary management (ensuring the fair allocation of work), recording of briefs and instructions, checking court & tribunal listings, negotiating fees and dealing with email and telephone bookings and enquiries from clients. Ideally, you will have some experience of office work from a comparative administrative role in a legal or professional services environment. Essentially, youll need to be able to demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills, high attention to detail, organisational skills, the ability to provide excellent client care and a friendly, approachable and flexible manner in working together with colleagues and members. An interest in developing a long-term career as a barristers clerk is also essential.
