How you create impact Responsible for managing the receipt, inventory, preparation, and shipment of IT equipment and assets at a data center facility. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring secure handling, and supporting operational logistics in accordance with QIC and client SOPs. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inventory, and document incoming IT equipment (e.g., routers, servers, spare parts) using QIC and client systems. - Prepare and pack equipment for outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. - Maintain asset inventory records and conduct regular audits and reporting. - Ensure secure storage and chain of custody for all assets, including staging areas and disposal processes. - Prepare equipment for deployment (unboxing, tagging, packaging removal, component aggregation). - Process decommissioned assets for storage, disposal, or redeployment, including operation of hard drive shredders when required. - Follow all SOPs and security protocols related to asset handling, storage, and transport. - Scan and verify inbound freight, identify damages, and escalate issues as needed. - Repackage, count, inspect, and label products accurately. - Ensure timely and compliant outbound shipments, maintaining necessary supplies and documentation. - Support warehouse operations: receiving, packing, scanning, moving, loading, and organizing inventory. - Liaise with couriers and carriers for shipment coordination. - Provide customer service support, including troubleshooting in-transit issues and routing inquiries. - Assist with on-site and off-site projects, including supervision of temporary labor when required. - Maintain a clean, safe, and secure facility environment. - Participate in ongoing training and support cross-functional tasks as needed. - Be flexible and available to support operational hours and coverage needs. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
