SEMH Teaching Assistant

Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract:Full Time

GSL Education are recruiting a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistantto support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a secondary school in Boroughbridge.

Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEMH needs within the classroom
* Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement
* Provide one to one support where required
* Work with teachers to implement behaviour support strategies
* Encourage confidence and resilience in learners
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs is beneficial
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Patient and understanding approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
