We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team working with our client South East Water.
If you have a demonstrable track record of making sound decisions, informed by experience and data intelligence, along with excellent attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved with...
Management of subcontractors and accounts
Supporting the Commercial Manager and management of the commercial team
Management of client disputes and internal auditing
Maintaining the commercial risk register
Overseeing weekly valuations and confirming accuracy of measurements
Cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives
Contract review and rates analysis
Production of CVR’s for all projects

Previous experience in a similar role within the water industry is essential.
Demonstrable experience compiling complex subcontract orders, including the allocation of risk and supporting the operational team.
Influential and charismatic communication skills and adept at landing key messages, as well as being a pragmatic problem-solver.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
