We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused EPC Assessor & Administrator to join our Property Services (Energy) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving the energy efficiency of our homes, helping reduce carbon emissions, lower energy costs for residents, and deliver high-quality services that truly make a difference. About the role: This is a varied, hands-on position combining energy assessment, surveying and administration. You will: Carry out EPC assessments and RdSAP surveys across our housing portfolio Support the delivery of our energy improvement programme Act as a key contact for tenants, ensuring an excellent customer experience Maintain accurate data to support compliance, funding and performance Coordinate with contractors, colleagues and stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently Your work will directly contribute to sustainable homes and improved customer satisfaction. What you'll be doing: Arrange and attend tenant appointments for surveys and inspections Produce and issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) Identify retrofit and energy efficiency opportunities Provide advice and guidance to tenants on energy-saving measures Maintain and update property and asset data systems Support funding submissions and programme reporting Handle customer queries, feedback and complaints professionally Raise works orders and support operational delivery Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors What we are looking for: Essential Qualified in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience in administration and customer service Strong IT skills, including MS Office and database systems Experience carrying out EPCs or property surveys Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first approach Understanding of health & safety and data protection Ability to travel to various locations Why work for Ocean Housing?
