Position Overview
Service Lead – Health and Social Care Sector, Hartlepool, TS25 4BZ. Salary: £26,294 per annum (Full‑time, Permanent – 39 hours per week). Driver with access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide on‑call duties on a rota basis for assigned locations.
* Attend and participate in team meetings and service user reviews.
* Ensure medication procedures are followed and service users are supported appropriately.
* Undertake managerial responsibilities that contribute to the overall management of the support services.
* Assess service users and develop Person‑Centred Plans, facilitating staff participation in implementation.
* Support residents with mental health issues and challenging, complex behaviour.
Qualifications & Experience
* Supervisory experience and ability to act as a role model for staff.
* Demonstrable track record of working with people with learning disabilities in supported living and enabling environments.
* Commitment to the principles of community care.
* Understanding of developmental needs of adults with learning disabilities.
* Experience in complex care environments.
* Driver’s licence and access to personal vehicle.
