Employer Bio St Andrew’s Community Network (the Network) is a Clubmoor, Liverpool based charity who provide advice and support to people facing poverty. They offer community-based debt and welfare benefits advice, host North Liverpool Foodbank and run a network of community food spaces. Set up over 20 years ago to address the needs of the Clubmoor community, the Network has since grown significantly and now supports thousands of people every single year. They work every day to set people free from the life-affecting consequences of poverty, supporting the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people throughout Liverpool and beyond. Their work is focused on Building Financial Resilience through debt and income maximisation advice, addressing both the causes of financial crisis and enabling people to move towards long-term stability, and Building Food Security as coordinators of North Liverpool Foodbank. Job Summary As a key member of the team, you will work to improve individuals’ financial wellbeing by providing advice and support those struggling with debt and money worries in the community. Main duties include providing face-to-face advice to individuals, performing the duties of a debt advisor, and managing a caseload of clients, including all records are kept up to date and managing communication with clients.
