A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Crewe area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team through our education recruitment agency. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide high-quality classroom support across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help create an engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects
Delivering targeted interventions and small group support
Promoting positive behaviour management strategies
Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and resilience
Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and student-centred environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:
Passionate about education and student development
Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Experienced working with young people in education, care, coaching, or mentoring settings (desirable)
In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one
Able to build positive relationships and act as a positive role model
