We collaborate across the organisation supporting cross border payment-flow monitoring, forecasting of daily Nostro positions across global time-zones, optimising funding requirements in over 40 currencies, fulfil liquidity reporting and ensure policy and process compliance. Job Description JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst, Payments Liquidity SALARY: £32,395 > £44,330 LOCATION: Brindleyplace, Birmingham HOURS : Full-time WORKING PATTERN : Due to the technicalities of the role and the side-by-side training required, there is an expectation for 100% office attendance for at least the first 2 months. Once training has concluded, the role will align with our hybrid work style, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Our team provides liquidity and cash management services across the Group to support customer payment transactions. We collaborate across the organisation supporting cross border payment-flow monitoring, forecasting of daily Nostro positions across global time-zones, optimising funding requirements in over 40 currencies, fulfil liquidity reporting and ensure policy and process compliance. We're seeking someone to join our diverse team, where your impact is real and your opportunity to learn and grow is limitless What you'll do Forecast cash flow positions across Nostro correspondent accounts, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements. Collaborate on short and long-term liquidity planning Manage the Groups global cash resources to ensure that we optimise our use and location of funds in all major currencies and utilisation/transfer of surplus funds to our Group treasurer. Improve efficiency of the Group cash resources by pooling currencies to avoid expose and overdraft costs Regular use of banking systems to forecast intra-day and end of day cash positions. Review and maintain liquidity and funding policies. Implement, maintain systems and procedures that ensure control across Group Treasury activities Review any currency hedge and balance sheet exposures that arise, correcting imbalances where appropriate Work collaboratively to develop and improve strategies to integrate new ideas. Continuously improve our products and processes, identifying efficiencies, improving service, technology or the sustainability of our cross-border payments.
