We are not a planning consultancy - instead, our work is rooted in the ownership, promotion, and optimisation of strategic and residential land across the UK.
With over 50 years of combined experience in land acquisition, planning, site promotion, and disposal, our highly experienced team works closely with landowners, local authorities, and development partners to unlock the full potential of land.
The Opportunity:We are now looking to appoint a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join our growing and driven team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a land-led business, where planning plays a central role in driving successful development outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and representations
* Supporting the promotion of strategic land through the Local Plan process
* Assessing new opportunities and advising on planning strategy
* Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and external consultants
* Helping to optimise the planning prospects and value of sites in our portfolio
* Staying informed on policy changes and emerging planning issues
About You:We're seeking a commercially aware and proactive planner who is keen to work client-side in a land promotion environment. The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Town Planning or a related field
* MRTPI accreditation (or working towards it)
* Experience working within planning, either in the public or private sector
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A practical understanding of the UK planning system and site promotion
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to visit sites as needed
