A highly regarded primary school in Oxford is seeking a new Teaching Assistant to join their committed team of support staff who provide exceptional care and guidance to their pupils daily.
This role involves working closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to deliver tailored support, especially focusing on helping pupils develop their numeracy skills. You will engage with pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, planning activities that meet each child\'s individual needs and help build their confidence in Maths.
This position is perfect for a recent Maths graduate passionate about applying their knowledge to support young learners and inspire a love of mathematics.
Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants to deliver tailored numeracy support.
* Work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis to build confidence in Maths.
* Plan activities that meet individual learning needs and track progress.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Recent Maths graduate with a degree in Mathematics.
* Interest in applying mathematical knowledge to support primary learners.
* Ability to communicate clearly with pupils and colleagues.
