About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-planned Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and themes.
* Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including discussion, research, and source analysis.
* Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and historical investigations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Contribute to departmental meetings and participate in the development of the Humanities curriculum.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities.
* A strong knowledge of the secondary Humanities curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make Humanities & RE relevant and engaging for students.
* A passion for historical inquiry and the development of students' critical thinking skills.
