Job Purpose: To support the Stores and Logistics team with the accurate booking in of goods, checking of documentation and kits, and maintaining stock records using computer systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and solid IT skills, ensuring stock accuracy and efficient flow of materials. Key Responsibilities: Goods Inward Processing: Accurately receive and check incoming deliveries. Match delivery notes and purchase orders, and report any discrepancies. Book goods into the system using internal stock control software. Documentation & Kit Checking: Inspect and verify parts/kits against packing lists or build documentation. Ensure all kits are complete and properly documented before issuing to production or stores. Highlight and report any missing or damaged components. Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts. Assist with the investigation and resolution of stock discrepancies. System Use & Data Entry: Enter and update information in the warehouse management or ERP system. Ensure accurate recording of batch numbers, serial numbers, expiry dates, etc. Run stock and booking reports as required. General Stores Duties: Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the stores area. Support packing, labelling, and dispatch tasks when needed.
