Role: Concrete Mixer Driver
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Location: Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6NB
We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our Concrete Mixer fleet
As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime for this role is paid at a rate of £21.00 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.
Key responsibilities:
* To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
* To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
* To drive long or short distances as required
* To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
* To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
* To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
* To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
* To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:
* A valid HGV Cat C license
* Tachograph card
* CPC Qualification
* A minimum of 1 years' experience as a Concrete Mixer driver
* Maximum of 6 points on your licence
* Valid right to work in the UK
