Account Manager - Activewear & Leisure
Our client is a fast growth activewear & leisure brand who have raised over £15m in funding. Their brand has been built from humble community beginnings and has grown as a result of their premium product offering & sustainability focus. Now, with several of their own retail stores alongside products being sold in wider retail partners, they are looking to continue their growth even further.
The role involves a split between new business development and account management, requiring both strong sales and relationship building skills. Covering the whole of the UK, the ideal candidate will have field-based experience selling into independent retailers. While a fashion background is not essential, experience in a fast-moving consumer industry is desired.
This is a remote based position with occasional in person customer meetings across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities with independent retailers
* Build and nurture relationships with the existing accounts
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to close
* Manage contract negotiations
* Ensure all orders are processed effectively with customer order timeframes in mind
* Engage with client problem solving when necessary
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction (e.g. Customer Service Team, Marketing)
* Maintain up-to-date CRM system & complete all administrative tasks to a high standard
* Travel when necessary to see clients and attend industry events & tradeshows
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity
The Successful Candidate
* 2+ years’ B2B sales experience
* Candidates with experience in textile, clothing, sporting goods, lifestyle or fashion are encouraged to apply
* Experience in a start-up environment is beneficial
* Able to travel for business needs (full UK driving license required)
* Based in the South East of England
Account Manager Package
* Basic salary up to £55,000
