Thrive Group are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers on a temporary to permanent basis, with a view to start immediately.
These positions are located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. *Please note that you must have your own transport or live in walking/ cycling distance to this area as there is no public transport available this early.*
These are full-time positions, working 06:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, paying £17.05 per hour.
Responsibilities of the role includes;
* Safely drive and operate a Class 2 waste collection vehicle across designated routes.
* Lead and work as part of a small team of loaders to complete daily collection rounds.
* Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, driving regulations, and company policies.
* Assist with loading duties where required.
The successful candidate will:
* Will be happy to undertake manual work.
* Will be happy to work in all types of weathers.
* Have a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence.
* Have a valid Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph card.
