Role Responsibility
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating referrals to the service from specific population groups in line with population need and KPIs.
They will also play a part in encouraging people to stay in treatment or access information to stay safer when using drugs or alcohol.
You will do this by:
* Identifying target audiences and determining how to reach specific cohorts, both online and offline
* Collaborating with the service to deliver promotional activities to increase referrals
* Creating content using various tools and promoting it across platforms like Facebook and Instagram
* Developing routine key messages and promoting them to target audiences
* Reporting on activity linked to the marketing plan and performance metrics
* Providing promotional support for community outreach, including events and marketing collateral
* Leading local awareness campaigns alongside service leads and the commissioning team where appropriate
* Liaising with local authorities, public health, and commissioners to build community communication links
* Working with the Central Marketing team to ensure all activities align with brand and tone of voice
* Identifying concerns and presenting solutions as appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, you should have experience in marketing or communications, including creating content for online and offline platforms, and managing social media accounts independently.
Sector experience isn’t necessary, but understanding the needs of the people we support is preferred.
* You should be comfortable taking a hands-on approach, writing copy, designing assets, and presenting your work to stakeholders
* You are results-driven and seek pragmatic ways to improve against objectives
* You enjoy working autonomously while being collaborative and inclusive
* You are organized, detail-oriented, and methodical
* You enjoy storytelling in creative and engaging ways
* You are positive, resourceful, and action-oriented
