We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Warehouse and Stores Person with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining accurate stock control and high safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible as follows:
* Assist in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse reporting to the Warehouse Manager
* Receiving goods in, ensuring good are quality checked and correct quantities · received.
* Pick and pack orders accurately in preparation to be despatched
* Assist in loading and unloading goods
* Handling and packing fine art and fragile goods
* Carrying out stock checks when required
* Assist with events stand building (training will be provided)
* Assist in completing daily warehouse checks
* Housekeeping
* Contribute actively as a member of the warehouse staff team, working towards developing and improving our services and operations
* Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role as requested by the Warehouse Manager
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations at all times
Skills required
* You will have a keen interest in warehouse operations and willing to perform a variety of duties within the warehouse
* Be punctual and work to deadlines
* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
* Personable with good customer service and communication skills
* Team player
* Forklift driving experience would be a plus, but not essential as full training can be available
* Drivers licence
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. There may also be opportunities to support the delivery drivers when a second man is required.
Full training will be given.
