M4 Specialist are currentlyrecruiting for2 night HGV 2 Driversfor our client based in Northampton NN4 delivering caged and wheeled dollies into stores NDCs on a temp to perm contract and ongoing temp contract
Current DBS must be held.
You will work as part of a busy transport and distribution team working Monday to Friday starting between 00.00 05.00 successful candidates will know routes weeks in advance to allow planning of personal time and flexi planning of routes to drivers if it can be accommodated.
You arerequired to have 1+ years of experience with HGV Class 2 Driving, with a maximum of 6 minor points
Candidates must have a good level of spoken and written English along with excellent customer service experience.
Rateof pay:
Days £18.18 per hour
No weekend working required
Job role;
Delivering out of hours and in hours to stores which will include the opening of some stores and dealing with the customer when delivering to the stores.
Securing load of trailer to ensure the safety at all times
Provide excellent customer service at all times and take ownership of customer issues on delivery
Can carry out multi drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner
Must be able to attend assessment and any driver training required in order to carry out the role.

Full UK Licence (UK)
HGV 2 Licence (UK)
Minimum 1 years experience
DIGI card (UK)
CPC card (UK)
Maximum of 3 minor points
Ideally have previous retail driving experience
Must be flexible in relation to shifts and duties.
Must be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with customer targets.
