Snorkel Washington, England, United Kingdom

We are excited to offer a Product Support Engineer position at Vigo Centre, providing comprehensive after-sales support for Snorkel customers, including both official Snorkel Distributors and direct end users. This role requires extensive travel across the EMEA region to deliver top-tier on-site support and training.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical and customer support for Snorkel machines post-delivery, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues reported by customers.
* Act as the primary customer interface on behalf of Snorkel, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and support.
* Perform on-site technical support, troubleshooting machine issues, and offering guidance to customer technical teams.
* Deliver service training on Snorkel machines for distributors and major fleet customers.
* Conduct proactive customer visits (sometimes with the Sales Team) to strengthen customer relationships and address ongoing support needs.
* Report on machine service and reliability issues to the Vigo Quality Manager and Operations Team.
* Support spare parts sales by engaging in discussions that explore opportunities to generate additional revenue.
* Maintain records of support activities, field service issues, and ensure the circulation of relevant service bulletins.
* Promote a safe working environment and support customer events, exhibitions, and special activities as requested.


Qualifications & Requirements

* A formal engineering qualification (equivalent to BTEC ONC/HNC) is required, or substantial hands-on experience with powered access equipment, supported by a solid engineering background.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with a professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
* Proficiency in foreign languages such as Dutch, French, or Spanish would be a plus.
