Job Description: Telesales & RTM Executive
Reports to: Head of Sales
Brands: Moorhouse's & Squawk
Based: Brewery office, 250 Accrington Road, Burnley, BB11 5EN (Parking free on site)
Salary: £26k-£29k (DOE) + OTE of up to £4,000 per year
Moorhouses Brewery is a family-owned business located in the heart of Burnley, dedicated to crafting bold, flavourful beers that celebrate the history of brewing. We're looking for a highly organised Telesales and RTM Executive to support our Sales Team and help us reach new heights in the real ale and craft beer world. Our team is made up of passionate brewers, innovators, and customer-centric individuals who work together to bring our beer to bars, restaurants, and ale lovers everywhere.
The Telesales Executive will play a central role in identifying and progressing sales
opportunities for both brands. The role includes proactive outbound calling, managing inbound orders, booking meetings for BDMs, and supporting trade marketing through email and social content.
The successful candidate will have done at least a year in a similar sales role, and have proven success in relationship-led sales.
Key Responsibilities
● Enthusiastically fulfil the telesales tasks on Brewman: make daily outbound calls, texts,
and emails to our customers, as well as answering inbound calls, texts and emails and processing orders. This is relationship-led sales, and requires you to build an authentic rapport with our customers.
● Effectively target 'undecided stakeholders'. Make sure to be 'in the right place at the right time', and learn when it is best to contact each customer to attain an order. In a competitive sector full of undecided persuadable customers making sure we're heard
and relevant, and the 'early bird that catches the worm'.
● Prospect potential and lapsed customers within the sales areas, and work to book
high-quality meetings for the BDMs.
● Work on preventing lapsed customers. Let BDMs know if any customer hasn't ordered 2 weeks in a row, and alert them to any potentially lapsed customer, and let them know if any comment is made about pricing or beer quality etc, so that the BDM is up to date and can act on the information.
● Write and send out the weekly trade emails and targeted offers to our different customer
sectors. Explore up-to-date software and comms packages to both streamline and
target sales better leading to higher engagement and sales.
● Own the fulfilment of the on-trade online orders received through portals such as
Eebria and Sellar and work with the management team to open up opportunities with these selling portals.
● Within the rules set out by these organisations, prospect with SIBA and PubCo
customers to generate interest and orders, building rapport with customers from
these groups.
● Post and schedule regular social media content to build brand awareness for
Moorhouse's and Squawk. Support the admin team with Social Media
Interaction.
● Champion specials, one-offs, collabs and seasonal launches in all outreach,
speaking eloquently and knowledgeably about the product - ingredients, style and
tasting notes, so as to cross-sell and upsell at every opportunity.
● Maintain full and accurate lead tracking and customer data in Brewman
● Be an active member of the office team, and complete various tasks, including
looking after incoming B2C customers buying our products.
