Labcorp is seeking a Vice President, Safety Pharmacology & Science to join our global team.
Work schedule: This is a 1st shift position that offers a hybrid working model on site a portion of the time in Huntingdon, UK and traveling to other sites in the US and UK to meet with teams and clients.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead, organize and manage the Safety Pharmacology groups in Huntingdon, UK, Harrogate, UK, Madison, WI and Shanghai, China, and Safety Pharmacology work performed by Safety Assessment at all other sites.
* Oversee Immunology, Genetic Toxicology and In Vitro Technology groups, coordinating with local managers to provide efficient, high‑quality service to internal and external clients.
* Participate in external Safety Pharmacology consortia and trade organizations, co‑authoring publications and contributing to regulatory positions such as ICH.
* Collaborate with Business Development to establish and maintain strong relationships with Safety Pharmacology and scientific partners.
Minimum Qualifications
* PhD in Safety Pharmacology, Pharmacology or Toxicology.
* 15 or more years’ experience as a leader in a pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5 or more years of experience in Immunology, Genetic Toxicology or In Vitro Technology.
* MBA.

* Strong knowledge of Safety Pharmacology, demonstrated by industry recognition, presentations, and publications.
* Global experience.
* Direct management of scientific staff.
* Documented ability to work in large scientific businesses with highly matrixed organizational structures.
* Familiarity with appropriate regulations in the industry.
* Capable of effectively functioning and leading in a matrix environment.
* Accomplishments that reflect teamwork, integrity and accountability.
* Ability to effectively work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver quality results in a growing organization.
* Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time domestically and internationally.
