The Role
Supporting FP&A function and wider Finance Team by providing financial and analytical support, producing monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Responsibilities
•Production of well-presented granular financial and operational data.
•Production of monthly Board Packs to be shared with the executive suite and external stakeholders.
•Production of period sales reports for internal and external distribution.
•Support in the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
•Create and maintain financial planning models.
•Assist in the creation of insightful and meaningful reporting catalogue to support the different business units across Castore.
•Support on ad-hoc analysis with Finance Business Partner.
•Pro-actively look for opportunities to improve reporting and analysis within Castore.
•Able to comment on variance analysis and provide insightful commentary for period end reviews.
•Able to identify financial risks and opportunities and escalate to senior management where necessary.
•Collaborates with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.
•Ability to manipulate large data sets into meaningful outputs.
Skills & Qualities
* Studying towards or recently qualified in an ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification is desirable
* Advanced knowledge of Excel.
* Power BI experience an advantage but not essential
* Proactive self-starter who thrives on being fully accountable for their work.
* Experience of presenting insights in a structured way.
* Ability to manage fast changing priorities.
* Broad understanding of key accounting principles.
* Willingness to go above and beyond.
