We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team. You will be based out of our client’s premises in Sutton Coldfield, where you will be looking after a workforce consisting of warehouse operatives, forklift drivers and more. You will also be required to support the business with other bookings as required.
This position is ideal for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who is confident managing a range of bookings and building strong client relationships.
The Role:
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for filling all on-site bookings as well as a range of other automotive & transport bookings and you will be expected to undertake the below tasks:
1. Utilise job boards, social media platforms and internal systems to source potential candidates.
2. Screen potential candidates and conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews to assess candidate suitability.
3. Coordinate and schedule interviews and starts between candidates and clients.
4. This role will involve sales, both face to face and over the phone.
5. You will need to build new business relationships and maintain current clients.
6. Chase leads, research new potential clients and support other recruitment consultants where needed.
7. General administration.
8. Occasionally travel to client sites for meetings and site visits.
What We're Looking For:
9. Proven experience as a recruitment consultant, ideally within automotive or transport & logistics.
10. Hold a full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points for minor offences).
11. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills and ways of working.
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
14. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
15. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
