We are seeking an experienced EPR Benefits Realisation Manager to lead the identification, tracking, and delivery of benefits associated with the implementation of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. This role is critical in ensuring that the EPR delivers measurable improvements in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, staff experience, and value for money.
You will work closely with clinical leaders, operational teams, digital specialists, and programme management to embed benefits realisation into programme delivery and business-as-usual operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive EPR Benefits Realisation Framework, aligned to organisational strategy and programme objectives
* Identify, define, and quantify clinical, operational, financial, and workforce benefits arising from the EPR programme
* Establish robust baseline measures, KPIs, and benefit metrics prior to implementation
* Track, analyse, and report benefits realisation throughout implementation and post go-live phases
* Work with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure benefits are owned, delivered, and sustained
* Support business case development and assurance processes with evidence-based benefits modelling
* Embed benefits tracking into programme governance, reporting, and decision-making
* Identify risks to benefits realisation and develop mitigation strategies
* Support change management activities to ensure benefits are realised through adoption and optimisation
* Produce clear, concise reports for senior leaders, boards, and external stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in benefits realisation management within large-scale digital or transformation programmes
* Experience working on EPR / EHR / clinical systems implementations (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
* Strong understanding of programme and change management methodologies
* Ability to work with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders at all levels
* Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
* Experience in healthcare, NHS, or public sector digital transformation
* Knowledge of EPR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Oracle Health, or similar
* Experience supporting business cases and benefits assurance processes
* Relevant qualification in programme management, change management, or benefits management
