Credit Controller – Join a Leading Organisation and Take Ownership of a Key Ledger
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected and forward-thinking client who is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. About the Role
You will take full responsibility for a dedicated ledger, including several high-value client accounts. Your focus will be on ensuring payments are made within agreed terms, managing queries professionally, and keeping all account records accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a specific ledger end-to-end, ensuring all outstanding monies are recovered on time.
* Handle all core credit control tasks, including calling clients, resolving queries, issuing statements, sending chase letters, and allocating cash.
* Perform accurate client account reconciliations and maintain precise payment records.
* Work with the Credit Manager to improve and modernise departmental processes.
* Investigate invoice or rate issues and help implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
* Liaise with Consultants, Managers, Directors, and Payroll to ensure smooth processes and accurate invoicing.
* Provide regular updates on accounts at risk of exceeding their credit terms.
* Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
