Whitmore Park Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking Site Services Assistant, to support our Site Services Officer, to start as soon as possible. 15 hours a week, Monday-Thursday 2.30pm-5.45pm, Friday 2.30pm-4.30pm, all year. Duties will include: Opening and closing the school Deputising for the Site Services Officer as required Securing the buildings and grounds when not in use Key Holder responsibilities Carrying out maintenance and minor repairs within the school, including painting and decorating. To comply with all Health & Safety aspects and follow procedures Ensure premises are cleaned to a high standard and the grounds are neat and tidy. Excellent communication skills with pupils, families, staff and contractors. What is the job role? The Ideal candidate will: Be willing to complete a DBS (enhanced criminal records check) Have a friendly approachable character and a good sense of humour. Able to respect confidentiality Have excellent time-management skills. Be physically fit and willing able to lift/move equipment Have experience and knowledge in carrying out minor repairs.
