An opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a regional, prestigious main contractor based in the Oxford area, working on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining a dynamic and experienced team with over 20 years experience in the areas of heritage, residential, commercial and sustainable build, playing a key role in preparing project cost estimates and supporting the delivery of high-quality construction projects. Our clients administrated construction contracts range from multi-million pound new builds to large-scale high specification extensions, renovations, refurbishments and conversions. Estimator Duties: Responsible for PQQs Estimating the cost of materials, labor, equipment, transport, and subcontractors for construction projects. Tender submissions Liaising with and working alongside colleagues from the commercial, planning and operational departments. Cost Control & Analysis. Estimator Requirements: Minimum of 3 years within an Estimator position Bachelor's degree in a related field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture. Full driving licence Knowledge of traditional building methods and products associated with the refurbishment of listed buildings, in particular heritage residential properties. Experience of health and safety management. Competent IT skills (including Microsoft Office package) Knowledge of building contracts (including JCT products) and tendering procedures.
