You’ll open new children’s homes, shape how they run, embed quality from the start, and then hand over to a permanent manager once everything is performing exactly as it should. Your responsibilities as Residential Development Manager as Compass Children’s Homes

* Lead the full lifecycle of new homes from development through to successful opening
* Oversee property setup including redesign, build and fit-out against key milestones
* Manage the full registration process with the relevant regulatory body
* Run each home operationally post-opening to establish high standards and stability
* Ensure delivery of safe, structured and child-centred care aligned to policies
* Recruit, induct and transition a permanent manager and team before moving to the next project

What we’re looking for in a Residential Development Manager

* Level 5 qualification in Residential Leadership (or equivalent)
* Previous experience operating as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care
* Strong track record of achieving positive regulatory outcomes
* Experience leading new services, improvements or operational change
* Confidence managing registration processes and compliance requirements
