We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technicians to serve as a technical resource within our mission critical Data Center in Hemel Hempstead. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment are maintained to the highest standards and operate efficiently at all times. Additional tasks will involve risk management and mitigation, the supervision of corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting. This is a 6 month contract role - fully onsite. It will provide someone with great experience in the fast growing data center sector and there is a possibility it may convert to a permanent role. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment Troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs Perform limited maintenance tasks to include: filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements Provide support to Data Centre Operations technicians Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.) Utilise internal CMMS to manage building workflows and spare part inventory Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance Respond to off hour emergency calls per on call rotation for any one of the regions sites Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies *The candidate must have eligibility to work full-time in the UK*
