We're looking for an experienced Functional Consultant. Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central implementation projects is essential. This role is fully remote but open to applicants in either Ireland or the UK only.
TEKenable require a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant for its expanding Dynamics 365 ERP delivery function. This is a permanent opportunity and fully remote. The suitable candidate will work as a functional consultant understanding customer business requirements, converting these into Business Central solution options and clearly explaining to the customer how their requirement is mapped to a standard or customised solution. This function also interacts with our other functions for project delivery, quality assurance and business as usual support teams.
The suitable candidate will need to be a team player, self-motivated, have excellent English, be confident in engaging with customers, a willingness to learn and keen to integrate with the existing Dynamics, Power Platform and engineering personal. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, excellent customer engagement skills, the ability to problem solve, the ability to work on more than 1 project at a time and see tasks through to their resolution.
The ability to engage with customers, understand their business requirements, explain how the Business Central can be used to meet their needed, defining solutions to meet customer needs with the wider platforms team and the ability to learn from other internal resources to deliver service excellence will be the key day to day activities of this role.
This opportunity should allow the successful candidate to expand their experience of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power Platform, bringing their skills, existing customer engagement and knowledge to the role, building on these and exposing them to various industry sectors and clients. Responsibilities:
* Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central and its add-on products configuration, support, training, and documentation (essential)
* Work with the team (Business central, Power Platform, SharePoint) with experienced colleagues
* Work closely with technical staff to define and document user requirements and solution specifications
* Ensure high standards of customer engagement and services are maintained
* Expected to complete work-related training and learning with the goal of obtaining relevant Microsoft Certifications
* Working as part of a dedicated team
* Strong Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience.
* Experienced in the change management process and coordinating with technical resources to create solution design documents.
* Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to support and communicate with users on all levels
* Excellent English, written and Oral
* Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
* Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
* A strong desire and ability to learn new platforms and technologies
* Relevant third level qualification in Business or IT (advantageous but not essential)
* Relevant functional and technical accreditations highly desirable.
* Microsoft Technologies; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform, Power Platform, Azure / Cloud concepts knowledge
* Ability to provide Post-implementation support.
* Provide consulting services and support to Business Central clients
* Work on tasks identified in solution design, implementing the relevant configuration or customisation changes
* Liaise with team members and team leaders to successfully deliver projects
Experience:

* Experienced in the change management process and coordinating with technical resources to create solution design documents
