Key Responsibilities of the Head of Operations include:
* Lead and deliver transformational change projects across operations
* Oversee a shift-based high-volume food manufacturing facility, with direct responsibility for production, technical, and maintenance
* Drive leadership development and team engagement, fostering a high-performance culture
* Collaborate closely with manufacturing and retail leadership to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and profitability
* Identify opportunities for investment and process improvement
* Be a champion of positive, inclusive leadership – empowering people rather than commanding them
About You
* Experienced operational leader in food manufacturing
* Proven track record of delivering successful transformation and continuous improvement projects
* Strong people leader who inspires trust, encourages collaboration, and can coach and develop teams
* Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment, with the flexibility to work early mornings or nights where necessary
* Commercially astute, with an appreciation for the financial and logistical challenges of modern food production
* Emotionally intelligent, confident, and calm under pressure – someone who leads with purpose and integrity
