Year 2 TA - Rural Primary School, Lancaster Location: Lancaster (South) Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026 Contract: Long-term, potential to go permanent Hours: 09:00 - 15:30, Monday to Friday About the Role: Veritas Education is seeking a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 2 pupil in a small, welcoming primary school. The pupil has additional needs but no behavioural issues, making this a rewarding and supportive role. This is a long-term position starting in after February half term and will continue until the school appoints permanently. There is potential for the successful candidate to secure a permanent role. Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's individual needs. Assist with learning activities and help the pupil access the curriculum. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies.
