Senior Applications Support Officer
This opening assignment is for 3 months
Hybrid working (with on-site attendance by agreement when required)
The Council are looking for an experienced Senior Applications Support Officer to play a key role in supporting and developing the NEC Housing systems.
You will work as part of a specialist team implementing and supporting modules within the NEC Housing system, helping ensure housing services run smoothly for residents and staff.
What you'll be doing
You will provide expert-level application support for NEC Housing, working closely with service teams to maintain data quality, resolve issues and support system improvements. This will include hands-on system support, data analysis and problem-solving across critical housing functions.
Essential skills and experience
You must have:
* Extensive knowledge of NEC Housing, including both the application and its database tables
* Strong expertise in either:
o NEC Repairs, or
o NEC Rents and Estates
* Significant SQL skills, with experience extracting and manipulating data from the NEC Housing database
* Experience of troubleshooting Repairs issues and/or financial reconciliation of migrated accounts from a Legacy system into NEC
