This post is for Band 4 Nurse Associate. Newly qualified Nurse Associates are welcomed and supported with induction, development and career progression opportunities.
The Nurse Associate will deliver high quality, holistic, compassionate and fundamental patient and client care as part of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional). You will work independently in people’s own homes and clinic settings, with care planned and evaluated by our Registered Nurses.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages in a variety of settings.
* Work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, following nursing practice frameworks.
* Make independent decisions and bridge the role between Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses.
* Operate within the service hours of 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week.
* Drive a car and travel to home and clinic visits.
Qualifications and Skills
* Completed the required Nurse Associate qualification or equivalent.
* Able to possess NMC registration, or be a final year Nurse Associate student, or hold a foundation degree (diploma level) equivalent.
* Ability to think independently, make decisions and collaborate with the wider multi‑professional team.
* Motivated to develop further via the nurse apprenticeship scheme and secondments towards registration as a Registered Nurse.
